Regan and Barletta Hold School Safety Press Conference
Today, I joined Congressman Lou Barletta (PA-11) at a Capitol news conference to discuss state and federal school safety initiatives. This is not just the newest hot topic, but rather it is an issue that must be addressed, and it is going to take a collaborative effort. That’s why Congressman Barletta and I are joining forces, along with local law enforcement and school officials to forge a path towards individualized school safety plans that will protect our students, teachers, and administrators while giving families and our communities peace of mind as Pennsylvania becomes a leader on this issue. I am honored to be taking a lead in the Senate, where we too are working collaboratively to advance legislative proposals that will achieve the results needed by our individual schools throughout the Commonwealth.
